Given the scenarios therein; I can attest that this course has implemented a frame with absolute certainty of its effects.

Of course not scenario will be the same but at least gives you an open mind of what not to do under heavy so say scenarios.

Laying off, or terminating a person due to lack of performance or for whatever other reason maybe takes a lot energy and patience to separate the emotional part from the business part.

As the title states, Handling Terminations with care and control is a fundamental that all managers involved must have to remain and gain control.

It needs a few video clips of the actual interviews - the how to do it and how not to. Also interview candidates with testimonials saying how they felt - what was done well and what not. What they have preferred, etc. Show how the manager felt awkward, or unsympathetic, etc., or caring and sympathetic.
Show the care aspect as well as the control aspect; needs more info about how people can be expected to react - different scenarios, since we are all different.

I now know that in every organisation, there is a time where you have to layoff some employees, as such one needs to be fully equiped to take on roles such as these. There are ways in which one can save the company and the exiting employee, that is by practising the care and control approach. Its the best way of doing things mainly because it makes it easy for the exiting employee, but most importantly saves the company's reputation.
