A large portion of this course provides an elementary refresher on basic mathematical functions and working in excel. I breezed through these parts. The format is to describe what something is, give an example, and then test your understanding by answering a question. Visuals are well-timed and helpful along with the verbal content.

The portion of the course I found more interesting and helpful was dedicated to "understanding financial reports" ... discussing reports you'll see at the core of any business function, like Budgets and Income Statements, and discussing terms like "assets and liabilities", "retained earnings", and others.

For someone who hasn't studied business formally, this is a great refresher and may offer clarity to things not fully understood previously.
